Welcome To The Photo Section of Our Families!
I
have a lot of work to do here, but here is a sample of what is to
come.
I am reworking ALL the photos and information that goes with them. This was necessitated by having to dump files from one computer and or hard drive to another in a hurry because of moves, ISP being shut off because some one did not like me and some one killing my Super Computer, Miss Clio. A friend has given me a new lap top and it is getting the job done, but it takes a lot longer with a lot less memory and 1 less processor. There are still over 1,000 photos/newspaper articles to go through and re-work but I hope to have them all on line by the end of January, by family in alphabetical order of sorts and by date by person so it will be easier to find people. The search feature on the opening page works well, but because of the volume of data on this site {over 39,000 people here and about 3,000 photos and newspaper articles} it takes them about a week to index it all and for it to function at its maximum.
I will make each section as it is updated and include update links on the home page.
There
will also be a whole section of unidentified people and we hope some one
recognizes and tells us the who, what, where and when.
It
is divided into sections by family and source.
